What do Shakespeare, a Filipino restaurant and a rock star have in common? They are the topics of new books by äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ alumni!

äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ has a long history of being a welcoming space for all who wish to pursue higher education. In the spirit of that tradition, Northeastern will offer tuition and fee waivers for up to 15 qualified Afghan refugees who settle in Chicago or nearby areas. Read more about this initiative, Stage Center Theatre’s reopening, an alumna named a MacArthur Fellow, Latinx/a/o Heritage Month events, the latest Vaccine Incentive Program and COVID-19 updates and more in this week’s Noteworthy at Northeastern.

At äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾, we break barriers. Our latest initiative, äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ For You, breaks a financial barrier by offering first-year, full-time undergraduate students a scholarship to cover tuition and mandatory fees for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022! It also covers the cost of a three credit hour course for all new undergraduate transfer students who register for six credit hours or more for Fall 2021. Read about this exciting opportunity, new Northeastern inductees to a prestigious honor society,  the benefits of incorporating music into your self-care routine and more in this week’s edition of Noteworthy at Northeastern!

Four äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ students, under the direction of three professors and in partnership with the EPA and the Student Center for Science Engagement, spent 10 weeks of the summer studying the impacts of air pollution.
